About Course

Artificial Intelligence Literacy is a six-day training program designed for teachers, students, and professionals interested in understanding and leveraging AI technologies responsibly. Participants will learn the key concepts of AI, including machine learning, natural language processing, and computer vision, while exploring practical tools for data analysis, content creation, and problem-solving. The course also addresses ethical, social, and privacy considerations in AI usage. Through hands-on activities, case studies, and project-based learning, participants will develop strategies to integrate AI literacy into educational or professional settings and create actionable plans for responsible AI application.

Daily Program

1. Day: Introduction to Artificial Intelligence

  • Definition and history of AI.
  • Key concepts: machine learning, natural language processing, computer vision.
  • AI in daily life: examples and case studies.
  • Activity: Discussion on how AI impacts participants’ work or learning environments.

2. Day: Types of AI and Tools

  • Narrow AI vs. General AI.
  • AI tools for education, business, and creative work (e.g., ChatGPT, DALL·E, AI-based data tools).
  • Hands-on: Exploring AI tools relevant to participants’ field.
  • Assignment: Test an AI tool and reflect on its potential applications.

3. Day: AI Ethics and Social Implications

  • Bias and fairness in AI algorithms.
  • Privacy, security, and digital rights.
  • AI and the future of work and learning.
  • Case study: Ethical dilemmas in AI applications.

4. Day: AI in Education and Professional Life

  • AI-assisted teaching and learning strategies.
  • AI for productivity and data-driven decision making.
  • Collaborative AI projects in classrooms or workplaces.
  • Activity: Design a small AI-assisted lesson or project.

5. Day: AI Tools for Content Creation and Problem Solving

  • Generating text, images, and multimedia with AI.
  • AI for simulations, modeling, and analysis.
  • Workshop: Create a short AI-based project or multimedia content.
  • Assignment: Prepare a draft project plan using AI tools.

6. Day: Developing an AI Literacy Action Plan

  • Reflection: How to maintain responsible and critical use of AI beyond the course.
  • Certificate ceremony and cultural activities

Reminding

  • Participants who attend at least 80% of the course will receive a Certificate of Attendance on Friday or Saturday.
  • Training sessions are scheduled for either the morning or afternoon.
  • It is important to bring your own laptop.
  • Any changes during the content week are subject to the trainers planning.
  • Elemantary English (A2) required
  • Requests from participants must be submitted to the training center at least 4 weeks in advance.
  • Please plan your cultural activities outside of the training hours. If you participate in a cultural activity during training time due to unavoidable reasons, please note that no make-up sessions will be provided.
  • The training has been adapted according to Erasmus+ budgets.
