About Course

This hands-on training program introduces participants to the latest Web 2.0 tools for content production, including blogs, wikis, social media platforms, and collaborative digital tools. Learners will explore strategies for creating engaging multimedia content, managing online projects, and enhancing collaboration with peers or teams.

Participants will gain practical skills in producing text, image, audio, and video content, as well as sharing and evaluating it effectively. The course emphasizes digital literacy, creativity, and effective online communication, enabling participants to harness Web 2.0 technologies to support education, marketing, and professional collaboration.

1. Day: Introduction to Web 2.0 and Digital Content

  • Social media platforms and collaborative tools overview
  • Trends in digital content production
  • Icebreaker: Share favorite Web 2.0 tools
  • Group discussion: Impact of Web 2.0 on content creation

2. Day: Text-Based Content Creation

  • Blogging platforms: WordPress, Medium
  • Microblogging and social media writing (Twitter/X, LinkedIn)
  • Content planning and structuring

3. Day: Multimedia Content Production

  • Graphic design and infographics (Canva, Piktochart)
  • Audio/podcasting tools (Anchor, Audacity)
  • Video creation and editing (WeVideo, Clipchamp)

4. Day: Interactive and Collaborative Content

  • Quizzes, polls, and surveys (Kahoot, Mentimeter)
  • Collaborative documents, wikis, and shared boards (Google Docs, Padlet)
  • Strategies for audience engagement

5. Day: Content Management and Digital Ethics

  • Content management systems (CMS) basics
  • Copyright, Creative Commons, and fair use
  • Ethical practices in content production and online publishing

6. Day: Evaluating and Optimizing Content

  • Metrics and analytics for blogs, social media, and multimedia
  • Techniques for optimizing content based on feedback
  • Tools for measuring engagement (Google Analytics, platform insights)

Reminding

  • Participants who attend at least 80% of the course will receive a Certificate of Attendance on Friday or Saturday.
  • Training sessions are scheduled for either the morning or afternoon.
  • It is important to bring your own laptop.
  • Any changes during the content week are subject to the trainers planning.
  • Elemantary English (A2) required
  • Requests from participants must be submitted to the training center at least 4 weeks in advance.
  • Please plan your cultural activities outside of the training hours. If you participate in a cultural activity during training time due to unavoidable reasons, please note that no make-up sessions will be provided.
  • The training has been adapted according to Erasmus+ budgets.
