About This Course
Basic computer skills are required. Participants will gain knowledge about cybersecurity threats, protection methods, network security, and data protection.
Cybersecurity is a critical field for safeguarding information and systems in the digital world. This course will teach participants how to ensure cybersecurity, the types of threats they may encounter, and how to take preventive measures against these threats. Topics include security protocols, encryption methods, and security tools.

Day 1
- Introduction of the course and institution, overview of the week’s activities
- Ice-breaking activities
- Participants introduce themselves and their institutions
- General overview of the cybersecurity field
Day 2
- Introduction to network security techniques
- Data protection methods and applications
- Use of firewalls and VPNs
- Hands-on network security and data protection projects
Day 3
- Introduction and use of security protocols
- Encryption methods and algorithms
- SSL/TLS and other security protocols
- Hands-on security protocols and encryption projects
Day 4
- Introduction to types of cyber attacks
- Defense strategies and measures
- Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS)
- Hands-on cyber attack and defense projects
Day 5
- Introduction to security tools and software
- Antivirus and antimalware software
- Security analysis and monitoring tools
- Hands-on security tools and software projects
Day 6
- Course evaluation: summary of acquired skills, feedback and discussion

Training Dates and Locations:
Check whether your application for the training has been approved by applying for one of the specified dates. Please note that the training must reach a certain number of participants to be approved. If the required number is not reached, we will contact you to offer alternative options.
Reminder:
- Participants who attend at least 80% of the course will receive a Certificate of Attendance on Friday or Saturday.
- Training sessions are scheduled for the morning/afternoon.
- It is important that you bring your laptop.
- Changes to the program during the week are subject to the trainer's planning.
- Requests from participants must be submitted to the training center at least 4 weeks in advance.
- Please consider times outside the training program for your cultural activities. If you carry out your cultural activity at a time that coincides with training days for compelling reasons, you should be aware that no make-up training will be provided.
