About This Course
Basic computer skills are required. Participants will learn about network structures, protocols, devices, and security measures, gaining insight into network administration and troubleshooting.
The course focuses on how networks operate, their components, and network security. It offers practical knowledge on setting up, configuring, and managing networks. Participants will gain an understanding of topics such as IP addressing, routing, switching, and wireless networks.

Day 1
- Introduction of the course and institution, overview of the week’s activities
- Ice-breaking activities
- Participants introduce themselves and their institutions
- General overview of networks and basic concepts
Day 2
- Introduction to IP addressing techniques
- Subnetting and calculation methods
- Hands-on IP addressing and subnetting projects
Day 3
- Introduction and usage of routing protocols
- Switching techniques and VLANs
- Hands-on routing and switching projects
Day 4
- Introduction and configuration of wireless networks
- Wireless network security and encryption methods
- Hands-on wireless network projects
Day 5
- Introduction to network security measures
- Methods for detecting and resolving network issues
- Hands-on network security and troubleshooting projects
Day 6
- Course evaluation: summary of acquired skills, feedback and discussion

Training Dates and Locations:

Reminder:
- Participants who attend at least 80% of the course will receive a Certificate of Attendance on Friday or Saturday.
- Training sessions are scheduled for the morning/afternoon.
- It is important that you bring your laptop.
- Changes to the program during the week are subject to the trainer's planning.
- Requests from participants must be submitted to the training center at least 4 weeks in advance.
- Please consider times outside the training program for your cultural activities. If you carry out your cultural activity at a time that coincides with training days for compelling reasons, you should be aware that no make-up training will be provided.
